Sub-Global Assessment (SGA)

A smaller-scale initiative, the Sub-Global Assessment (SGA) Network, coordinated by UNEP-WCMC, is dedicated to organizations or individuals interested in it, serving as a common platform for ecosystem assessments at sub-regional, sub-national, and national levels, focusing on promoting better professional, human, or institutional capacity to carry out and utilize such assessments, which include an economic dimension of the physical environment. It is a useful portal for professionals from multiple disciplines, both research and local authorities or in the field of public policy development, who wish to use ecosystem assessments as a working tool.
